Digital Product & Catalog Manager

We collaborate directly with artisan communities to preserve craft legacies while delivering high-quality, ethically made products to a global audience.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Digital Product & Catalog Manager to own the end-to-end digital presentation and performance of Craftroots’ handcrafted apparel line. This role blends product design thinking, catalog operations, UX sensibility, and visual content execution to create a seamless and delightful shopping experience. This part-time role is ideal for someone who understands design systems, structured product workflows, mobile-first UX, and digital merchandising, and who can translate artisan-made products into compelling digital narratives.

Key Responsibilities

WhatsApp Catalog Management:

  • Build, update, and maintain structured WhatsApp Business product catalogs.
  • Organize products into intuitive categories and flows to improve discovery and conversion.
  • Ensure catalog accuracy across pricing, variants, and availability.

Instagram Shop & Social Commerce:

  • Manage Instagram product tagging, collections, and shop updates.
  • Support visual storytelling through reels, posts, and highlights.
  • Maintain consistency across product information and brand identity.

Website Product Line Management:

  • Upload and manage product listings, variants, and inventory.
  • Improve product detail pages using UX best practices—clear IA, accessible layouts, and consistent design patterns.
  • Collaborate with developers or no-code tools to refine navigation, filters, and checkout flows.

Design & Content Execution:

  • Create clean, consistent product visuals using Figma/Adobe tools.
  • Maintain a lightweight design system for digital assets (icons, components, templates).
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

User Experience & Insights:

  • Map customer journeys across WhatsApp, Instagram, and the website.
  • Identify friction points and propose UX improvements.
  • Conduct lightweight user testing or feedback loops to refine flows.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in product design, UX, catalog management, or digital merchandising.
  • Strong skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital workflow tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex backend systems (inventory, payments, product variants) into intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience designing or managing mobile-first product flows.
  • Understanding of design systems, accessibility, and structured content.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to translate craft heritage into compelling digital narratives.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI-assisted design workflows, WhatsApp Business tools, or e-commerce platforms.
